An AI-native game studio
Worlds worth staying up for.
Dusk Studios is an independent game studio that builds with AI at every layer: code, content and tools. That lets a small team make big, living worlds. Our first title, Duskmere, is in early beta now.

First light
The first public build: a low-poly island, a quest-giver and a fishing pond. Small, but already one shared world.

-
The gates of Lightshire
Our first city: a walled market plaza, a bank, and the first trades between players.

-
The Storybook update
A full visual overhaul: painted textures, mountains on the horizon, and WASD movement.

-
Lightshire at dusk
Real-time lighting arrives: lamplit streets, glowing windows and chimney smoke as the sun goes down.

-
Sky, haze and distance
A new WebGPU renderer brings painted skies, atmospheric haze and long view distances. Now you can see the whole valley.

-
Storms over Stormfen
Weather and rolling surf, running on our new native engine written in Rust, now in testing. The live game server moved to Rust on 23 October.

01
AI at every layer
We use AI across engineering, art pipelines, world-building and tooling. Not as a gimmick inside the game, but as leverage behind it.
-
02
Ship early, build in public
Our games go into players' hands early. We iterate on what people actually do, and share the work as we go in devblogs.
-
03
Worlds that persist
We make online worlds people come back to: one shared world, characters that grow over months, places that change as the community does.
Say hello.
Players, press, partners, or people who want to build worlds with us. We read everything.
